Marilyn Monroe and JFK’s Rumored Love Nest is For Sale
Step inside Bing Crosby’s stunning California desert estate that hosted the most iconic presidential affair in American history.
A piece of American history is up for grabs: The rumored luxury love nest of Marilyn Monroe and John F. Kennedy is on the market for $5 million.
According to Inside Hook, the sprawling mid-century modern estate in Rancho Mirage, California, just outside of Palm Springs, was built for the late “White Christmas” singer Bing Crosby, and has five bedrooms and five bathrooms spread out over 6,700 square feet on 1.36 acres of land.
It even has hand-carved doors, three fire pits, views of Coachella Valley, and a massive 1,400 square foot master bedroom with its own fireplace and sitting area.
The mid-century mansion has a Moroccan theme, and was last sold in 2005 for $2,625,000 and has been on and off the market since 2010.
But more importantly, the home is a big deal in Hollywood, because the attached two-bedroom casita is rumored to be the very spot Marilyn Monroe and JFK would meet in secret.
No one knows for certain if it’s actually true or not, but that “presidential” guest wing was nicknamed the JFK wing anyway.
