If you ever plan on visiting Qatar, here’s a piece of advice: Pack some tiger repellant.
The video above shows a tiger with what appears to be a broken chain attached to its collar casually strolling through a traffic jam in Doha, which is just about the last thing you want to see when you’re in the middle of your morning commute.

The tiger, which has a broken chain attached to its collar and appears to be an escaped pet, can be seen running through lines of stopped vehicles, seemingly trying to find a way off the road.
On Twitter, the Ministry of Interior has said it is following up on reports of the loose tiger.
Yes, despite repeated warnings about the dangers of keeping exotic animals like tigers and cheetahs (!) as pets in the oil-rich Arab nation, the thing is definitely someone’s pet. Here’s a shot of the leashed animal on the side of the highway before his escape.
