Watch a B-52 Stratofortress Bomber Blow an ISIS Weapons Cache to Kingdom Come

Boom, baby.

On Thursday, Pentagon released a video showing a B-52 Stratofortress bomber demolishing an ISIS weapons cache in Iraq.

This is the first strike the legendary B-52 bomber has executed since the aircraft — in active service (with upgrades) since 1955 — joined the anti-ISIS coalition forces taking part in Operation Inherent Resolve earlier this month.

The last time B-52 bombers were deployed was to bomb Taliban targets in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks, nailing terrorist camps with precision bombs across Afghanistan.

In case you needed a reminder, the B-52 is one of the most badass aircraft on the planet. The Stratofortress can stay in the air for up to 10 hours, carry 70,000 pounds worth of bombs and has a range of 8,800 miles.

Brace yourselves, ISIS: The B-52 is coming to blow you to Kingdom Come.
