The road to success is paved with setbacks. We can see this in every industry, and it’s no different for the fitness world. We all want to win, which leads to constant competition for success. With people always trying to outdo each another, being at the top can be an isolating place, and getting it isn’t easy either. It is an intense journey, one that can be both lonely and rewarding. You must be willing to do what others won’t, take chances others would never take, and endure criticism from those who want you to fail. If you are serious about your career as a fitness influencer, then you need Bakhar Nabiieva’s wisdom on how to win in this competitive environment.

Nabiieva is a top fitness athlete and influencer with an inspiring story. Her passion for fitness developed in her childhood when she was mercilessly bullied because of her looks. Initially, getting into the fitness space was a way of dealing with her body image issues, but Nabiieva soon fell in love with it and made it a lifestyle. Gradually, she achieved her goals and started sharing her journey with the world. With over 3.7 million followers on Instagram alone, Nabiieva is one of the most renowned fitness athletes in the world today. She was recently featured on the list of 100 best athletes worldwide because of her physique and strength in the gym.

Nabiieva’s journey has been anything but smooth. Even after overcoming bullies and gaining control of her life as an adult, challenges have still come up from unlikely quarters along the way. Losing friends was one of the first blows Nabiieva suffered on her journey. She learned early that when winning, you will find yourself surrounded by adoring fans, but genuine friends are few. In the beginning, her closest and dearest were the loudest voices encouraging her to keep going. Then, she exceeded their expectations and continued working on herself against their advice. As a result, Nabiieva faced harsh criticism from many who felt she was overdoing it and claimed they hated her new look. Instead of letting that get to her, kept going and chose to become her own best friend.

Many people face this reality daily in their lives, which may make them less confident and convince them to give up on their goals. Nabiieva says you shouldn’t let that get to you. “You gotta remember that not all people are going to like you, no matter the reason,” she advises. Instead of trying to win people’s approval, Nabiieva recommends staying true to yourself and going after your goals with renowned vigor. Also, don’t dwell too much on what people think of you.

Misery loves company, and that’s true in all industries. As a fitness expert, Nabiieva has encountered different people and learned that lesson firsthand. “People are dealing with their own issues and insecurities,” she says. “Most of the time, they project. They just don’t have enough courage to do what they wanna do and look how they wanna look.” As a result, they spend time pulling others down, and the best thing you can do is ignore them and keep moving. That’s what Nabiieva has done, and she’s now crushing new goals daily. Her goal is to get into the movie industry and open her own gym someday.
