The 2015 Cadillac Escalade Is Coming to Reclaim the SUV Crown

Cadillac’s big daddy is badder than ever.

It’s the luxury SUV favored by tough guys both musical (The Game) and fictional (Tony Soprano). Since it debuted in 1999, the Cadillac Escalade has ruled American highways with its combination of beefy good looks, luxurious interior, and V8-powered speed. Fifteen years on, the car is poised for its fourth generation, which Caddy is bringing out for the 2015 model year. Earlier this week, the new vehicle was unveiled at a huge party in Manhattan, and everyone there could see that the latest version means business. As Bob Ferguson, Cadillac’s senior VP put it, “Cadillac’s growth provides the ideal stage for the all-new Escalade to take a major leap forward. It’s completely new and elevated in design and technology, inside and out.” Besides the incredible 420 horses the SUV will bring to the table, the ride will be quieter, the handing and fuel economy improved, and the exterior will have cleaner lines throughout. Hey, you better come correct if your car’s gonna be good enough for the mob boss of North Jersey, no?
