We’ve been in love with the Jeep Cherokee ever since we first spotted a wood-paneled Wagoneer in our elementary school parking lot (who knew Sister Margaret had such sweet taste in cars?) Well, our passion continues thanks to the brand-spanking-new 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT. Thanks to Chrysler’s SRT, or Street and Racing Technology, division, this Cherokee is the most powerful (read: most fun) version ever made. With the same giant 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 under its hood as the mighty Challenger, the Grand Cherokee SRT will move you – and anything you want to carry or tow. The exterior looks tougher than ever (we particularly like the blacked-out, totally menacing headlamps), and the interior is chock-full of leather, suede, and all the latest is-this-a-truck-or-a-rolling-iPad tech. So check out these first-look pics, then start making some space in your garage.
