Chevy Is Celebrating 65 Years Of America’s Most Iconic Sports Car With a Carbon Fiber-Trimmed Corvette
Totally badass.
Chevy is commemorating 65 years of Corvette sports cars with the 2018 Corvette Carbon 65 Edition, a limited 650-car run of Corvettes bearing a carbon fiber-centric appearance package.
The very first Polo White 1954 Corvette rolled off the assembly line June 30, 1953, the first of 300 cars built that year.
The Ceramic Matrix Gray Carbon 65 Edition Corvette pays tribute to the white ’54 model (that was the only color available for the first year) without duplicating it.
The $15,000 anniversary edition package will be available this summer and features unique fender stripes and door graphics, black wheels, blue brake calipers, and a jet black suede interior competition sport seats.
Of course, there is also a load of visible carbon fiber, including the hood’s center section, roof, side skirts, spoiler, and intake ducts.
