Aston Martin Is Making a Murdered-Out ‘Tag Heuer Edition’ Supercar
The Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Tag Heuer Edition comes with the luxury watch that inspired it.
Aston Martin is readying a special edition, blacked-out DBS Superleggera to match the striking Tag Heuer watch that inspired it.
The beastly British supercar boasts a murdered-out “Monaco Black” paint job with red accents on the brake calipers and sidewalls of Pirelli Color Edition tires.
The interior trim continues the striking color pattern. Almost everything is covered in black, except for the occasional red stitching and Tag Heuer badges embroidered on the seatbacks.
Under the hood is the same bellowing twin-turbo V12 that endows the “regular” DBS Superleggera with 735 horsepower, a 3.4-second 0-60 mph time and 211-mph top speed.
The idea here is that the DBS Superleggera Tag Heuer Edition is the ultimate automotive companion to the storied Swiss watchmaker’s Carrera Caliber Heuer 01 Aston Martin Special Edition.
From an aesthetic standpoint, it’s hard to disagree.
Motor 1 reports that the pricing details haven’t been revealed and production of the stealthy bespoke ride will be limited to just 50 examples. And you get a free Tag Heuer timepiece with every purchase, so there’s that.
But all that luxury doesn’t come cheap. Buyers should expect to spend well over $300,000 for the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Tag Heuer Edition.
