Take a Dip in This Ultra-Exclusive $4 Million Aston Martin Submarine
It’s truly James-Bond worthy.
We’ve recently seen Studio F. A. Porsche’s efforts applied to a luxury yacht, McLaren making customized body armor and WilliamsF1 creating infant ambulance pods, so apparently the designers at Aston Martin were itching to apply their skills outside the automotive realm too.
They collaborated with Triton Submarines LLC on Project Neptune to develop an exclusive, limited-production three-person submersible.
Florida-based Triton says it is committed to producing the “safest and best performing, deep-diving submersibles in the world,” while Aston Martin’s design prowess needs no introduction.
“Project Neptune is defined by its sleek, elegant exterior,’ says Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman. “We have used forms and proportions that express the same devotion to design, engineering and beauty that shape our cars, such as the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar project.”
(Imagine that being said by Alan Rickman, because Reichman’s voice and accent exactly mirror those of the late Harry Potter movie actor.)
We’ve seen Aston’s hand in previous nautical vehicles when they helped design the AM37 yacht we showed you last year.
