This Badass Custom Ducati Diavel Puts The Pedal To the Metal

Most commonly, customizers improve project motorcycles by hacking through the extraneous and removing the unneeded to reveal the elemental essence of two-wheeled cool hidden beneath. This isn’t one of those times.

Instead, Portland, Oregon’s Moto Corsa commissioned master sheetmetal bender Jeff Johnson, of Ill Eagle Designs to produce retro-futuristic art deco bodywork for this Ducati Diavel. Up front, he dressed up the Italian power cruiser with headlight cowl housing an LED array for forward lighting.

The Diavel wears a carbon fiber-wrapped Termignoni exhaust to extend the bike’s custom appearance. The bike debuted at the Portland One Motorcycle show.

Staged next to a stock Diavel, the Moto Corsa’s custom’s hand-formed aluminum bodywork stands out. It shows that stripped-down bobbers, trackers and cafe racers aren’t the only design trends you might spot at a custom bike show.
