BMW’s ‘Black Shadow’ M2 Is a Pocket Rocket From the Dark Side
Pure evil.
BMW is gunning to top Spinal Tap‘s Black Album for maximum darkness, with the M2 Coupe Edition Black Shadow.
The Bavarian hot rod boasts signature design cues meant to enhance the speedster’s muscular stance. Naturally, Sapphire Black metallic is the only paint color, while the 19-inch, Y-spoke forged aluminum wheels are finished in matte black.
Carbon fiber trim is another important feature, so look for the carbon mirrors and rear diffuser, with blacked-out trim on the grille and side panels.
Look for the M2 Black Shadow to go into production next month.
BMW also debuted the Concept M8 Gran Coupe at the Geneva International Motor Show, giving us a sneak peak of the upcoming production version of the brand’s maximum-performance four-door coupe.
The production version of the M8 Gran Coupe is still a year away, but the concept gives us a preview of the flared fenders, enlarged air intakes and carbon fiber roof that will be key elements of this new model.
