Brabus Transforms Mercedes-AMG E 63 S Into 900-HP Supercar

Blacked-out beast.

Brabus is once again proving that Mercedes-AMG’s more stately rides can be remade into sporty, hi-performance monsters with its tune-up of the 2022 Mercedes-AMG E 63.

It’s a similar treatment that the German customizer gave the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63S crossover SUV. With the already top-tier tune of Merc’s four-door sedan as a starting point, output is increased from 603 hp and 627 pound-feet of torque to 900 hp and 774 pound-feet of torque, dropping the 60-mph time to 2.8 seconds. Top speed is limited to 205 mph.

Autoblog reports that Brabus punched the power up by punching out the V8 to increase displacement to 4.5 liters via an increased bore and lengthened stroke, then sizing up the turbochargers.

Styling wise, Brabus describes a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.” Whether that’s an accurate idiom to use is up for debate, as Brabus added a slew of carbon fiber bits including flashier front and rear spoilers, rear diffuser, and front grille insert.

The murdered-out “Signature Black” certainly isn’t brash, but it’s also not covert, and the same can be said about the 21-inch custom platinum rims.

With Brabus’ own sports exhaust system, drivers can choose how much of a ruckus they want the pipes to make—a minimal one in “Coming Home” mode, or a bellowing growl in “Sport.”

No word on price, but it’ll be considerably more than the donor car’s $108,500 sticker. If interested, let Brabus know about it here.
