In Case the Chiron Isn’t Extreme Enough, Check Out This Utterly Insane Concept for Bugatti’s Next Hypercar
Holy sh*t.
The incredible 1,497-horsepower, 261 mph Bugatti Chiron nearly defies belief, it is so extreme. So topping Bugatti‘s newest monster seems almost beyond imagination.
To do so, we’ll need to channel Han Solo, when he said, “I can imagine a lot.”
That must have been the approach of London-based designer Adrian Biggins, who has done work for McLaren and Jaguar, when he conceived of his concept design for Bugatti’s next-generation hypercar.
Many familiar Bugatti cues remain in place, but at the same time Biggins employs racing-style aerodynamic tools such as an extended front splitter beneath the bumper to provide stability at speeds beyond those of the Chiron.
Huge air extracting vents behind the front wheels and a vertical stabilizer fin are other racing cues applied to this proto-Bugatti.
Less functional are the extremely cool exposed spring/shock absorber assemblies, which lend some raw functionality to the concept’s aero-sculpted surfaces.
As an outside project, who knows what Bugatti thinks of Biggins’ proposal, but they should be thinking along the same lines if they want to top today’s Chiron.
