Though Chevy leaked the announcement of the badass new Camaro ZL1 just before the New York International Auto Show, that didn’t stop them from triumphantly yanking the ZL1’s top off on stage to rabid acclaim. And why not?
While this racy new convertible Camaro ZL1 packs all the same supercharged 640-horsepower punch as the beloved coupe, along with its six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission and six-piston Brembo brakes, it also adds a handy folding fabric roof.
The top can be removed while driving at speeds as high as 30 mph, or remotely using the Camaro’s key fob. But don’t get too excited–you won’t be able to get your hands on this topless beauty until early 2017.
How bad do you want it?
