Maserati’s expansive Fuoriserie customization division already allows clients to trick-out their Italian exotic in a one-of-a-kind specification.

Now the Modena-based marque is injecting a little celebrity provenance into its personalization equation via Fuoriserie Essentials, described as “a refined collection of cars curated by select tastemakers and friends of the trident.”

For those familiar with Maserati, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that the first collection comes from David Beckham. As a Maserati brand ambassador, the suave soccer icon has already helped hype the Fuorieserie program by designing a bespoke Maserati MC20 supercar dressed in black and pink—the colors of his Inter Miami soccer team.

But the first ever Fuorieserie Essentials collection was inspired by Beckham’s brand of sartorial style. As such, he dug deep into classic Maserati rides from two distinct eras to inform his Fuorieserie DB Essentials schemes.

The first, inspired by a 1967 Maserati Ghibli coupe, features a “Night Interaction” blue exterior over a tan leather interior. The second harks to the ultra-limited 1986 Maserati Quattroporte Royale, of which only 51 were produced, with a dark green “Verde Royale” exterior and warm brown leather upholstery.

Both designs include an exclusive branded plaque applied to either the central tunnel between the front seats or the trim piece between the headrests.

“I have always loved cars, so to be part of designing and creating my own Fuoriserie collection has been an amazing experience,” Beckham said in a statement.

“It has been incredible to collaborate with the skilled Maserati team once again to create these designs, inspired by my passion for classic cars and my appreciation for personal detail.”

Both Fuoriserie DB Essentials configurations are available for the MC20 supercar and the Grecale luxury crossover SUV. But if neither speaks to you, the larger Fuoriserie program is always at Maserati customers’ disposal.

“Just like David, everyone can choose from a wide range of personalization features from our Fuoriserie Corse collection, inspired by Maserati’s glorious racing heritage, and from our Fuoriserie Futura collection, dedicated to lovers of technology and new materials,” said Klaus Busse, Head of Design of Maserati.
