This 24 Karat Gold-Accented Ducati Monster Is a Savage 160-HP Beast in Disguise
We’re not worthy.
The Ducati Monster 1200R is already one of the baddest cafe racers at its price point, but the genius German bike builders at Diamond Atelier conjured a one-off custom model that looks like it fell from motorcycle heaven.
Yes, that’s 24-karat gold that wraps the frame and accents the olive green tank. The seat has also been upgraded with hand-stitched leather, but what makes this Monster truly one of a kind is s 3D-printed tale piece supported by its own bespoke subframe.
Beneath all of that opulence is the 1200R’s 160-horsepower engine capable of blasting riders to 160 mph and a Superbike-spec brake system to slow them down.
“There was basically no brief,” Diamond Atelier’s Tom Konecny told Bike EXIF. “Only a wish to make a great bike even better. That’s what we tried to achieve.”
Job well done. Behold Diamond Atelier’s Monster in the photo gallery above, and check out their other magnificent creations below:
