We already know that Equus Automotive could build powerful cars, from the Bass 770, a muscle car mash up of the classic Mustang and Challenger, so it is no surprise that the company can blend elements of various cars into one.
But for ‘Throwback,’ all of those elements come from a single model, the Corvette. They just come from different eras, as this C7 Corvette carries cues referencing earlier generations.
The 1,000-horsepower ‘Throwback’ lists for $130,000 and accelerates to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, according to Equus.
The vintage-inspired bodywork is made of modern carbon fiber, for its light weight.
Top speed exceeds 225 mph, which is the kind of speed you might need to snatch a Throwback, because Equus says they’ll build just 25 of the cars.
