Come to the Dark Side With Menacing Mercedes ‘Night Edition’ S-Class Coupe
This is one badass Benz.
Mercedes is dressing up the brand-new S-Class Coupe with a sinister “Night Edition” that’s set to debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
The car’s matte Selenite Grey Mango paint job makes its bevy of black accents stand out—including a gloss black single-louver grille, mirrors, door sills and 20-inch AMG wheels.
Inside, the upholstery is leather, nappa leather or AMG nappa leather in black/black, crystal grey/black, saddle brown/black or Bengal red/black, along with high-gloss black poplar wood trim.
The Night Edition can be outfitted with either the 367-horsepower 3.0-liter turbocharged V8 or the 455-horsepower turbocharged 4.7-liter V8. All-wheel drive is also available with the V8.
In any configuration, the S-Class Coupe Night Edition’s top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. If Mercedes is willing to pre-announce hot properties like the Night Edition, we can’t wait to see the introductions they are saving for the Detroit.
