This Rose-Gold Covered Private Jet Is as Fast as It Is Shiny

We’re not sure exactly when this happened, but from iPhones to BMWs to Kylie Jenner’s hair, it appears that rose (don’t call it pink) gold has become the new black. Seriously, it’s everywhere. Even covering private planes.

Obviously a solid gold plane wouldn’t be able to fly, but just for Nieman Marcus’ 90th anniversary edition Fantasy Gifts collection, Cobalt covered their Valkyrie in the lustrous hue—both extensively on the exterior and tastefully accented inside as well.

At $1.5 million, it’s quite the fantastic gift (Photo: Cobalt)

Aside from just looking all shiny and streamlined, this thing can really fly too: up to 230 miles an hour, with a range over 1,100 ground miles per tank. And along the way, you’ll be treated to amazing views, thanks to the largest one-piece canopy in the sky.

Best of all, with the purchase of each Cobalt Valkyrie-X, Neiman Marcus will donate $200,000 to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation. Seems like a luxurious win-win for everyone. Especially the best buddies who’ll come out of the woodwork to hitch a ride.
