This Insanely Cool Tractor Trailer Just Scored $2.3 Billion in Preorders
The 2,000-HP hybrid Nikola truck is coming for us all.

According to manufacturer Nikola Motor Co, 7,000 orders have poured in for the 2,000-horsepower Nikola One hybrid natural gas-electric tractor-trailer truck. That’s just since the company first introduced the badass concept in May.

Nikola plans to unveil the real truck to the public in Salt Lake City on December 2.

“Our technology is 10-15 years ahead of any other OEM in fuel efficiencies, MPG and emissions,” boasted Nikola Motor Company Founder and CEO Trevor Milton.

If you can’t quite swing the purchase price, no worries: Nikola plans to lease the trucks for $4,000 a month. Don’t forget to bring your trade-in.
