Our Picks for the 5 Coolest New Cars from the L.A. Auto Show
We’ve already fallen in love with these brand-new rides. Wanna meet them?
Last week in sunny Los Angeles, gearheads from around the globe gathered for the LA Auto Show. Besides displaying insane concept cars that will never actually make it to dealerships – oh, Mercedes, why must you torture us so? – automakers also used the event to debut models for the upcoming year. While not quite as crazy as the concepts, the cool thing about these cars is that you can actually, you know, buy them one day soon. Here are five brand-spanking-new machines we can’t wait to park in the Maxim garage…

The convertible versionwas arguably the most-anticipated automotive debut of last year, so car nuts are rightfully psyched about its gorgeous hard-topped sibling.

Pocket rocket. Boy Racer. Whatever diminutive nickname you want to give it, it’s the WRC car you can drive to work every day…for under $30,000.

The U.S. is finally taking on Japan in the competitive midsize pickup market. Think of this beauty as the Silverado‘s overachieving kid brother.

So they’re taking what is universally considered the best driver’s car in the world and dropping the top? Anyone got about $200K they want to spot us?

The regular GT-R is the fastest car we’ve ever driven, so our heads are exploding at the mere idea of an even sportier, 600-horsepower version.
