The Latest Rezvani Beast Squeezes 700-HP Out of a 4-Cylinder Engine
How’d they do that?
Seems like the crazy Californians at Rezvani Motors are never satisfied, either with their car’s power output or with its number of assertive-sounding names. So, welcome the new 700-horsepower Rezvani Beast. Except this one is the Beast Alpha. Oh, right, Alpha X. Blackbird.
Ok, got it? This one borrows inspiration and paint color from the Lockheed SR-71 spy plane, the world’s fastest jet.
The $225,000 Rezvani Beast Alpha X Blackbird has its 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine pumped up to an astonishing 700 horsepower, which propels its scant 2,150 lb. mass to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds.
Rezvani extracts that power from the engine by installing Carillo racing forged pistons, rods, cams, valve, springs and Cosworth ECU.
Traditionalists will appreciate Rezvani’s use of a conventional H-pattern six-speed manual gearbox for maximum driver involvement.
Are you ready to buy a superlative machine with the added power and nomenclature of the Rezvani Beast Alpha X Blackbird? Of course you are. We double-dog dare you.
