This Scorching 525-HP Lexus Concept Will Sear Your Retinas
Yes, please.
The hot Lexus LC 500 is only months away from showrooms, but tuner Gordon Ting at Beyond Marketing got a head start customizing this sleek new ride when Lexus provided him a pre-production prototype to build into a concept car for this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas.
Beyond Marketing was able to develop a body kit for the LC, which will be available in the spring for the car’s first buyers. The revised body work is wrapped in Avery Dennison Gloss Yellow vinyl.
Beneath the sheetmetal, the concept Lexus rolls on 22-inch satin charcoal HRE P101 wheels, with Pirelli P Zero Nero tires, and Brembo brakes.
The LC 500’s 5.0-liter V8 is bored out to 5.6 liters using CP pistons and Carillo connecting rods and now produces 525 horsepower, a 54-horse boost.
“The LC 500 looks beautiful and has a fantastic foundation of performance and driving characteristics,” said Gordon Ting. “I wanted to use that groundwork to develop a high-performance, aggressive-looking LC 500 that is tough yet luxurious, and has serious chops thanks to the custom engine.”
