The Gurka RPV Is The Armor-Plated Tactical Truck Of Your Dreams
It can withstand gunfire and roll over just about anything.

Canada’s Terradyne aims to build the next generation of tactical military trucks that are as strikingly beautiful as they are ridiculously rugged. Their Hummer-esque Ghurka RPV “civilian edition” is the latest contender for a custom truck most likely to rule a post-apocaylptic landscape.

It’s capable of withstanding 7 millimeter armor piercing bullets, and can ram through chained gates and drive in up to 30 inches of water, should the occasion arise.

Its 6.7-liter V8 turbodiesel is good for 300 hp and 660 lb.-ft. of torque of torque via a six speed automatic mated to a four-wheel system, and it can hit a respectable 70 mph despite weighing in at 13,500 pounds.

At $278,000 the Ghurka RPV isn’t exactly cheap. But it might just save your life.
