Triumph is following up its in-demand 2022 Gold Line by finishing 10 of its so-called “Trumpets” in head-turning chrome detailing. From members of Triumph’s historied Bonneville line to the rubber-burning, range-leading Rocket 3s, each hand-finished bike wears a unique custom chrome design—more than a few accents and a pretty limited-edition badge. Check out three standouts below:
Triumph Rocket 3 GT Chrome Edition
Big IS beautiful. The conduit for the world’s largest production engine—a behemoth 2.5-liter triple producing 165 horsepower—is already a looker, with a mean 3-into-2 exhaust that threatens to leave grill marks on an carelessly placed leg. For the Chrome Collection, the tank is rendered in full chrome and half-painted in Diablo Red. Jet Black paneling and body bits complement, while Matt Aluminium Silver fork guards and upper radiator cowls highlight the bodacious lines.
Triumph Bonneville Bobber Chrome Edition
Like the Rockets 3s, the Bonneville Bobber is a relatively new addition to the century-plus old British marque’s lineup, having launched in 2016. But the Bobber style is of course a timeless motorcycle trope, and Triumph nails it with barebones bodywork, wire-spoked wheels, and an especially retro floating seat that’s straight out of the 1920s. The Chrome Edition features a gorgeous chrome tank that’s finished with a Jet Black overlay and flanked by Triumph’s triangle badges, with the badass black mudguards and panels being carried over from the stock model.
Triumph Thruxton RS Chrome Edition
The first Thruxtons were race-prepared for Triumph Bonneville’s Thruxton, England track in 1965, and this OG cafe racer‘s historied silhouette has hardly changed since. The black mudguards, side panels, seat cowl and headlight bowl contrast against bright chrome, while Matt Silver Ice fork protectors add shape. We’d be remiss not to mention the legendary 1200cc Bonneville parallel twin engine tuned to produce 103 horsepower and low-end torque in accordance with the high-spec chassis’ needs.
The Rocket 3 R, Bonneville T120, Scrambler 1200 XE, Bonneville Speedmaster, Bonneville T100, Speed Twin 900, and Scrambler 900 join the above in Triumph’s Chrome Collection, which is available to order now for one year only. Deliveries are scheduled to begin by the end of 2022.
