We can all go home now.

Some show cars exhibited at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas are cosmetic job—big wheels, lowered suspension and garish paint with no “go” to back up the “show.” The Land Speed Cruiser isn’t one of those.

Instead, this Toyota Land Cruiser‘s 5.7-liter V8 is twin-turbocharged to an astounding 2,000 horsepower — yes, that’s 500 more than a Bugatti Chiron — which propels this off-roader to a 220 mph top speed.

“With the Land Speed Cruiser, we are breaking all of the normal conventions of what an SUV should be,” said Steve Appelbaum, Toyota Motor Sales national engagement marketing manager. “This vehicle is truly a feat of engineering.”

The engineering team had to chop the frame to lower the suspension for a lower center of gravity and reduce aerodynamic drag. They also narrowed the frame to allow for the wider racing wheels and tires necessary for the truck’s speed potential.

The Land Speed Cruiser’s stealthy black exterior remains nearly stock in appearance, so keep an eye out for a low-riding Land Cruiser before engaging in any impromptu stop light drag races. It probably won’t go well for you.
