Adam “Pacman” Jones, whose Wikipedia page has nearly as many entries under “legal issues” as it has under “professional career,” was caught on tape delivering an impromptu beatdown to an Atlanta airport employee this week.

The free agent cornerback, who most recently played for the Bengals, did not instigate this particular conflict though, police said. Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport employee Frank Ragin did.

Police said it began when Ragin made a “gesture” toward Jones. The Atlanta native confronted the man and words were exchanged before fists started flying.

Ragin was taken to the hospital after the fracas, while Jones suffered a cut on his face. Ragin was also arrested after police determined that he was the aggressor in the altercation. That’s a bad day.

Jones was last in the news for off-the-field shenanigans in January of 2017. Arrested at a hotel in downtown Cincinnati for poking a security guard in the eye, Jones went on a wild tirade that included these lines: “You a bitch, bro;” “Suck my dick;” “I hope you die tomorrow;” and “Bitch, you’re going to be out of a job tomorrow.”

Jones’ most notorious legal incident happened in 2007, during NBA All-Star weekend in Las Vegas. Then a member of the Tennessee Titans, Jones was hanging out with rapper Nelly at a Vegas strip club when the two young, wealthy men began “making it rain.”

Naturally, people started picking up the money and Jones took exception. He was accused of punching a dancer in the face and playing a role in a shooting at the club.

That incident was the straw that broke the camel’s back. After just two years in the league, and 10 run-ins with the police, he was suspended for an entire season.
