This Conor McGregor Lookalike Took to the Streets of L.A., And People Went Absolutely Bonkers
Apart from the tattoos and haircut, he doesn’t even REALLY look like Conor.
Until today, I’d never head of a “street workout athlete.” But it’s a thing and Islam Badurgov is one of the most well-known practitioners of this thing, which seems to involve performing incredible feats of strength on the street.
For Badurgov, it also involves impersonating Conor McGregor and getting mobbed on the streets. That was the Kazakhstan-born athlete’s latest “prank,” which he pulled off with Muscle Madness.

“Prank” is in quotes above becuase that’s what they call this video, even though there’s not really any prank here. It’s just a dude who looks ever-so-slightly like McGregor getting mobbed in the streets of L.A. Amusing, but not a prank!
Badurgov has done this kind of thing before. In May, Muscle Madness uploaded a video of him pulling off a bunch of crazy athletic tricks while dressed like an old man.
It’ll be interesting to see if the real McGregor responds to this and what he says. He seems like the kind of guy who’d challenge Badurgov to a fight for stealing his identity and pretending it’s a prank.
But the more interesting thing might be what happens once Floyd Mayweather gets wind of this. He’s already reportedly trying to get Nate Diaz to walk with him to the ring before his fight with McGregor in August. What if he had a fake McGregor there with him too?
