It wasn’t long before the woman was revealed to be Lainie Fritz, a sports reporter for Channel 2 Houston… and the daughter of Tulane’s head football coach, Willie Fritz.

In an interview with Click 2 Houston, Fritz revealed that it wasn’t so much a date as it was an opportunity for her enjoy the game with one of the sport’s all-time greats.
“Big E is a great friend,” she said. “I enjoyed sitting next to the legend and hearing his expert analysis on the game as it played out.”
