A French figure skater left a little too much on the ice during her Olympic routine.

The fashion faux pas occurred during Guillaume Cizeron and Gabriella Papdakis’ short program. Shortly after the pair began dancing to Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” the clasp of the 22-year-old’s dress became unhooked.

“I felt it right away and I prayed,” Papadakis said during a press conference. “That’s about what I could do.”

As she leaned into her partner’s arms during the final element, her sparkling costume moved just enough to constitute a nip slip.

Social media users reacted instantly to the mishap, which was broadcast on live television.

“It was pretty distracting, kind of my worst nightmare happening at the Olympics,” Papadakis said.

She managed to keep her cool and complete the Latin program. Judges ultimately awarded the pair a formidable 81.93 points, leaving them second only to Canadian stars Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir going into the finals.

“I told myself, ‘I don’t have a choice. I have to keep going,’ and that’s what we did,” Papadakis added. “I think we can be proud of ourselves being able to deliver a great performance with that happening.”

Spoken like a true champion.
