Twenty-one-year-old golfer Aaron Wise had an amazing Sunday, until he didn’t.

The PGA Tour rookie came into the final round at the AT&T Byron Nelson with a share of the lead. After a four-hour delay to his tee time, Wise put in an error-free round, shooting a 65 and winning his first tour event by three strokes. The win made him the second-youngest golfer to ever take down the tourney, behind only a guy named Tiger Woods.

The trophy was nice, but the $1.38 million purse was even better. Nothing could go wrong for Wise, it seemed, until a comely young blonde ran to him for a celebratory hug. When Wise leaned in for the kiss, she pulled away and a viral moment was born.

Turns out, this young lady is his girlfriend and fellow Oregon Duck Reagan Trussell. And while she didn’t let him kiss her lips on Sunday, Trussell has previously allowed Wise to kiss her head, as evidenced by this photo.

And it turns out Wise wasn’t completely shut down on Sunday. His girl may not have let him smooch, but the trophy he got for winning did.
