Josh Allen’s old tweets are the gift that keeps on giving.
On Wednesday, with the NFL Draft just a day away, old, offensive tweets from Allen surfaced in a story on Yahoo. In the tweets, Allen used a variation of the n-word and wrote the seemingly racist phrase, “If it ain’t white, it ain’t right.” Allen quickly deleted the tweets and apologized.
None of this appeared to hurt him much Thursday night. He was still taken in the top 10—number seven overall by the Bills. “We don’t condone anything,” Bills general manager Brandon Beane said. “We did our due diligence, spoke to him and his coach again … he’s going to come in here and own it and has to earn the trust of the fans or organization.”
And that appeared to be the end of it. But then some internet sleuth decided to see if there was anything else tasty buried in Allen’s tweet history.
There was. When he was 16-years-old, Allen tweeted some thirst about Katherine Webb, the former Miss Alabama who is married to A.J. McCarron, who just so happens to be one of Allen’s new teammates.

The tweets were sent on Jan. 7, 2013, the night of that year’s BCS Championship and the night that Brent Musburger creeped on Webb on national TV:
“You quarterbacks, you get all the good-looking women. What a beautiful woman.” – Brent Musburger
“Wow!”- Kirk Herbstreit said
“Whoa!””- Musburger
“AJ’s doing some things right down in Tuscaloosa,” – Herbstreit said
“If you’re a youngster in Alabama, start getting the football out and throw it around the backyard with Pop,”- Musburger

McCarron already had reason to hate Allen. After signing with the Bills in the off-season, he was looking to secure a full-time starting job. Now he has a top-10 draft pick to compete with.
After these latest developments, McCarron has even more reason to hate the kid.
