The unofficial countdown to Ric Flair‘s long awaited “30 for 30” has been on for years—but on Wednesday night we finally learned the date we’re counting down to: November 7, 2018. That’s when the story of the entertaining wrestler of all-time will finally hit TVs.
ESPN made the announcement online last night and with it, came a glorious new trailer showing some incredible old school footage of ‘Naitch along with a who’s who of wrestling legends.
WOOOOOO!!! It's official… Our #30for30, #NatureBoy, on @RicFlairNatrBoy will debut November 7th on ESPN.

It opens as you might expect, with Flair pumping up his ego.”Everybody wanted to be me,” he says “Every man, because I had the nicest clothes, biggest cars and more women. And I was the best wrestler.”
But then, it gets a little dark. “Richard Flair was the real guy. The Nature boy is just a myth,” Shawn Michael says.
“It was something I was pretty good at,” Flair says. “Then it became a disease.”
This is why this documentary has been anticipated for long. We’d all watch 90 minutes on a wrestling legend, but the promise of a story that digs much deeper into the guy who’s fought ex-wives, attacked his children and had scores of money problems, is why this thing has a chance to be special.
