The WWE Just Signed Three of Indie Wrestling’s Top Women

Instagram

The WWE’s ongoing effort to stock up on talented women wrestlers took another step forward this week with the reported signing of three of independent wrestling’s top female stars. Kimber Lee, Evie and Heidi Lovelace have all joined the promotion, according to multiple reports. All three will report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando on January 3.

The WWE’s effort to ramp up female talent is all in an effort to put on an epic women’s tournament as early as 2017. These three stars will go a long way toward making that tournament a success, but the signings could also single a further change in the WWE.

The promotion has seen women’s wrestling take off in the past year, and there’s reason to believe that more female stars are coming. What’s exciting about these three is that they’re not just lookers, either. They know how to mix it up in the squared circle.
