Add Flash to Your Feet With the Retro Air Jordan 13 ‘Bred’ That Now Comes in Reflective Nylon
Get your shine on.
The Air Jordan 13 “Bred” is a rare model: the sneaker—made of leather, carbon fiber and “Zoom Air” cushioning—first dropped in 1998 and was subsequently re-released in 2004 and 2013.
2017’s model will feel ever rarer: it will come in reflective 3M Nylon material, meaning it is quite literally the flashiest iteration to date.
The recognizable black-and-red colorway and leather toebox are still there. Now, there is “Varsity Red’ suede trailing the sides for an impression of luxury.
They look like great athletic kicks. But all those fancy materials—suede and leather—mean they’re just for show… not for play.
Nike will drop the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Bred” on August 19th, and it will go for $190.
