Designed by Dutch architect Koen Olthuis, Arkup livable yachts aren’t just floating houses — they’re a houseboat, waterfront villa, and yacht, all in one mobile overwater home.
With 4,350 square feet of living space, these luxurious vessels are elevated on 40-foot hydraulic legs that make it as sturdy as a house and lift it above waves, and can even withstand a Category 4 hurricane.
A solar panel on the roof has 36 kW solar electric panels to generate energy, and two noise-free electric thrusters of 136 hp propel the yacht up to 7 knots.
Onboard, there’s a 456 square foot retractable terrace for when you want to spend time outdoors, and is surrounded by shock resistant glass for protection.
Plus, a rainwater harvesting system is installed on the roof, providing you with fresh water.
The yachts have 9-foot ceilings, two king-size guest bedrooms with bathrooms, and an ensuite master bedroom with a walk-in closet, balcony, and jacuzzi.
You can buy an Arkup liveable yacht here for $5.5 million.
