Balenciaga, the luxury Spanish fashion brand that originated the “dad sneaker” trend, is back with a new paternal-friendly invention.
Its all-new “Track” sneaker is set to debut on September 3, and it’s more of the multi-colored, chunky soled confection style gods dug on the Triple S.
This one is a touch more low-key in a sportier and more practical silhouette, although the contrast of the mesh, nylon and suede is played up.
What’s more, there are four colorways to pick from: orange/white/grey/blue, white/orange, yellow/grey/white and black.
The Balenciaga “Track” Sneakers will debut exclusively at Selfridges in London for $705.
They will be sold along with an exclusive apparel collection, which is to include hoodies, T-shirts and even $110 socks.
Come to think of it, your old man might balk at those prices.
