British heritage outerwear brand Barbour has been a stylish staple in the closets of well-dressed gents like David Beckham, James Bond, and the British royal family for more than 125 years.
Now, Barbour is launching an elevated sub-brand called Gold Standard, with updated versions of their classic jackets.
The collection of premium outerwear is inspired by the Barbour archives and will include ten styles like the Beacon (worn by Daniel Craig in Skyfall), Beaufort, Transporter, and Border. Each piece is handcrafted in South Shields, England, with materials like tweed, oiled leather, and waxed cotton.
The collection was unveiled during Paris Fashion Week Men’s at the British Embassy, complete with a vintage Aston Martin in the courtyard as a nod to 007. The Barbour Gold Standard collection will launch online and with selected distribution worldwide in July.
