The Breitling ‘Super Avenger’ Watch Turns Your Wrist Into an Avenging Angel

Watch porn at its finest.

You thought you dug Breitling‘s Avenger model, the aviation-inspired self-winding chronograph that was as badass as they come?

The Swiss watchmaker has unveiled its new and improved Super Avenger 01, which is a 100-piece limited edition drop that comes in at the decidedly luxurious price of $7,800.

Only true ballers will likely drop that kind of cash on a wristwatch, but anyone can marvel at its Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 movement.

Breitling describes it as a “high-performance engine” that works off 28,800 vibrations/hour, 47 jewels and a 70-hour power reserve. It also boasts a 1/4th of a second chronograph, 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers.

The watch is chronometer-certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute. In effect, it’s accurate down to the millisecond despite whatever pressure you put it under.

The all-steel case—a formidable 48 mm—looks just as sturdy. It houses a black dial with silver numerals and hands with eye-popping red accent and is wrapped up in an equally handsome steel case.

What’s more, it’s water resistant down to 1,000 feet, which is pretty much the bottom of the goddamn ocean (it’s actually over 3,500 feet deep but whatever). In any case, this thing is truly indestructible.

Breitling calls it the “Super Avenger 01” for a reason. Pick it up for a cool $7,800 at any one of Breitling’s 60 boutiques.

Or get lost looking into Breitling’s similarly high-priced covetable timepieces.
