Bruce Willis’s Insane $33 Million Caribbean Compound Comes With Its Own Pirate Ship

Ever wonder what Bruce Willis has been doing with his hefty Hollywood paychecks? Turns out the Die Hard star has spent the past several years creating the ultimate tropical paradise on the Turks and Caicos Islands, which he is now selling for $33 million via Nina Siegenthaler of the Turks and Caicos office of Sotheby’s International Realty

Located on Parrot Cay, a private island which is also home to Keith Richards, Donna Karan, and the luxe COMO Parrot Cay resort, if he gets his asking price the compound will be the island’s most expensive property ever.

Willis acquired the eight prime acres of beachfront land in 2000 and spent a number of years building the estate, known simply as “The Residence,” which now comprises three wooden houses and totals 35,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space; there are 11 bedrooms in all including a five-bedroom main House and two guest villas, all with private pools, plus a fourth for good measure.

Willis’ timing is impeccable as always since the Turks and Caicos Islands – the subject of a stunning feature in Maxim‘s upcoming May/June print issue, out later this month – is hotter than ever as a destination.

In 2016 a Parrot Cay estate sold for $27.5 million, according to Robb Report. Willis married model-actress Emma Heming on Parrot Cay in 2009.

Sotheby’s International Realty calls Willis’ spread “an incredible escape that harnesses the natural beauty and tranquility of Parrot Cay’s pristine private island experience… [where] gentle turquoise waters meet powder soft sand” outside while the interior echoes the “carefully curated Asian-influenced design” aesthetic of COMO Parrot Cay.

The “understatedly beautiful” property underwent a full redesign in 2018. The 11,000-sq.-ft. main residence’s master suite spans the entire upper level with sliding glass doors opening to a wraparound deck, and of course the house has a private screening room as well. The en suite master bathroom has a rain shower, soaking tub, and his-and-hers walk-in closets.

The grounds boast a sandy drive, lush lawns and landscaping, coconut plams, banana and papaya trees, a beachfront shaded yoga pavilion, and a children’s playground complete with an “exquisitely crafted” pirate ship. And the new owner can take full advantage of COMO Parrot Cay’s amenities including its bar, restaurant, spa and more.

In other words, cheap at twice the price….
