Inside Elon Musk’s Stunning Los Angeles Home
The Tesla titan has put his striking L.A. abode on the market, so let’s step inside and take a look.
Fresh on the luxury real estate market is tech billionaire Elon Musk’s futuristic Los Angeles home that he bought with ex-wife Talulah Riley in 2014. The asking price? A cool $4.5 million.
Now listed as an off-MLS listing on luxury brokerage Hilton & Hyland by David Kramer and Andrew Buss, the 3,000-square-foot curvaceous house has a boomerang design to maximize space and privacy.
A curved wall of floor-to-ceiling windows looks out onto the backyard that has a tall privacy hedge, which lets in as much natural light as possible and keeps out prying eyes.
A sleek kitchen with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances opens up to the living room, which is encased in windows on two walls and has sliding glass doors that lead to the saltwater pool and spa in the private backyard.
The master bedroom of the four-bedroom, three-bath house has its own door to the backyard, with views of the ocean, city, and canyon throughout the property.
Other features include integrated security, audio, and lighting systems, as well as automated curtains, all of which can be controlled from a mobile device.
Since Musk invents self-driving cars and spaceships, it’s no surprise at all that his house is high-tech, too.
But that’s not all — the house is also eco-friendly with a dual tankless hot water system, dual-zone climate control, and irrigated drought-tolerant landscaping.
