Filson’s New Dive Watch Line Is Always on Time
Ten rugged timepieces to tackle the great outdoors.
Legendary Seattle-based outfitters Filson have just seriously upped their timepiece game with a cool new collection of ’50s-inspired dive watches called Dutch Harbor.
There are 10 variations in all of the sporty 43mm watches made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, built for Filson by Detroit’s Shinola and priced from $750–$950.
Each rugged timepiece has a 30 ATM rating, for water pressure resistance up to 990 feet, a uni-directional rotating top ring with luminous indicators, and Super LumiNova accents on the index, hands and top ring for readability in low light.
They also feature curved, scratch-resistant sapphire crystals with an anti-reflective coating for legibility at all angles in the water.
The watches are hand-assembled in Detroit and are powered by Shinola’s Argonite 715 quartz movement.
In addition to a classic steel band the collection also features waterproof straps including examples fashioned from USA-made rubber and a quick-drying NATO-style G10 nylon.
Dials come in various natty colors and some models are blacked-out for a stealthy military feel.
