The First Adidas x Prada Sneaker Collaboration Is Here
The so-called “Pradidas” collab re-imagines the iconic Superstar sneaker along with a limited edition bowling bag.
The first collab from athleticwear giant Adidas and haute Italian fashion label Prada delivers a predictably luxe take on the famous Superstar sneaker, along with a bowling bag to match.
The special-edition Superstar, which first became a streetwear icon as the footwear of choice for iconic 1980s rappers Run D.M.C., gets Prada’s full-grain leather for the upper with a signature Adidas Originals rubber shell toe, herringbone-pattern rubber cupsole, Trefoil graphic, and a serrated triple stripe logo alongside Prada logotype on the heel.
Paired with the black-and-white sneak is a matching Prada bowling bag—a mashup of Adidas’ signature gym bag and the highly influential Prada bag shape that first debuted Spring of 2000. Its chassis is made from premium calf leather and features twinned Prada and adidas Originals logos. If this colorway isn’t your thing, whited-out versions of both products will also be available.
Only 700 serial-numbered pieces Prada for Adidas Limited Editions will be produced, which is to say that interested parties will have to act fast to cop the exclusive collection when it hits both brands’ websites and select Prada stores on December 4.
