If you don’t want to spend exorbitant amounts on car/watch crossover accessories like this $20,000-plus Hublot Ferrari GT, Australia’s Fuoriserie is selling limited-edition watches crafted from real pieces of salvaged supercars for about the price of a decent G-Shock.
There are two models available. The “Rosso Red” edition features a dial made the doors of a 1993 Ferrari TB with a white logo, indexes and mini track. The “Storm Black” edition’s dial comes from the hood of a 2011 Aston Martin Rapide and gets a gray logo, indexes and mini track. Because every piece of dial material is different, each watch is truly one of a kind.
As Hypebeast notes, both are presented in a stylish 42mm case and domed scratch-resistant K1 glass that are rated for water resistance of up to 30 meters. Brass hour and minute hour hands contrast with the aluminum second hands, which are propelled by a Japanese Miyota 203A Quartz movement.
The steering wheel-inspired strap is made from genuine nubuck leather, and the buckle is color-matched to the dial. Fuoriserie Co is only making 300 of these high-octane timepieces (150 of each edition), so you’ll need to act quickly to get one for only about $310 online.
