Hublot Just Dropped Some Gorgeous All-Leather Watches

The Swiss watchmaker teamed up with shoemaker Berluti for this luxuriously leathered-out line.

A key ingredient to a knockout watch is the strap. Some seriously fine leather can give even the most workaday timepiece an enviably stylish punch.

Even though they don’t need any help in the style department, the horological masterminds at Hublot just dialed things to 11 with a nearly all-leather timepiece—the dial included. The Classic Fusion Berluti line features Venezia leather dials and straps from Parisian leathermaker Berluti, known for its fine footwear. However, the glass case is etched from sapphire, and the casing and bezel are made from ceramic to hold everything together.

You have got your pick of two colors: all black or “king gold,” which is made from Venezia calfskin and has writing imprints inspired by 18th century calligraphy. The all-black look has a sense of intrigue while the king gold has patina in spades. See for yourself:

Though the leather holds court, these are still finely-made, ticking timepieces. The Classic Fusion Berluti works with the brand’s HUB1100, mechanical self-winding movement and runs on a 42-hour power reserve.

The all-black option is part of a 500-piece limited edition, while the king gold has been capped off at 250, so act fast.
