J.Crew Teams With Red Wing for Brawny New Boot Collection
Step up your boot game.
J.Crew is celebrating 10 years of one of its most enduring partnerships—with Minnesota-based footwear brand Red Wing—by launching an all-new boot and shoe collection.
They’re still hot off the tanner, but these new boots, chukkas and oxfords leave an undeniable impression of heritage due to that Red Wing leather, which makes for a famously sturdy shoe and develops a beautiful patina overtime.

These new models in particular speak to Red Wing’s reputation for superlative American craftsmanship. It takes over 230 steps to assemble them in Red Wing’s Minnesota factory, where as many as 100 craftsmen draw from over 100 years of the company’s time-honored techniques.
Below, shop all the offerings from the new Red Wing for J.Crew collection.
Red Wing for J.Crew Roughneck Boots — $280
Here’s a revival from a 2007 J.Crew collaboration with Red Wing. Built in a workboot style, with comfortable Vibram® lug soles and with Red Wing’s iconic red-tinged brown leather, what’s not to love?
Red Wing Work Chukkas in Chestnut — $260
These boots are crafted in a classic chukka silhouette and are sewn together with a Goodyear welt so you know they’ll hold up for years.
Red Wing Iron Ranger Boots in Coffee — $320
Inspired by the boots miners wore in the 19th century, these “ranger boots”—built with a double layer of leather over the toe and Vibram rubber outsoles—are as sturdy as they come.
Red Wing for J.Crew Oxfords — $270
These oxfords are lighter and less brawny than the other options, but they’re no less resilient with Vibram rubber outsoles and the same Goodyear welt construction.
Red Wing Rover Boots — $270
Playing to both J.Crew and Red Wing’s bent for all-American menswear, these black boots are inspired by the footwear cotton rovers donned while operating 20th century mills. And you know what? You can put these through the mill, and they’ll still last basically forever.
