J.Crew Is Now Selling Vintage Rolex, Breitling, and Omega Watches

Upgrade your luxury watch game with these striking timepieces from J. Crew.

J.Crew

J. Crew just established its very own vintage watch store for your inner collector to obsess over. It’s a serious endeavor too, as the preppie outfitter is offering some truly unique and visually striking luxury timepieces from the last 50 years or more available, often at pretty reasonable prices.

Robb Report has more:

On Tuesday, the American retailer unveiled a new partnership with vintage and pre-owned watch dealer Analog/Shift. The collaboration will see J.Crew offer 18 watches from the likes of RolexOmegaBreitling and more on its website.

The watches range in price from $950 to $9,650—and with the current watch shortage and the beginnings of the holiday shopping season, it might just be the place for collectors to find their next acquisition.

That watch shortage isn’t just referring to Rolex’s famously hard-to-find new models but other luxury retailers have been impacted by supply chain problems left over from coronavirus pandemic shutdowns as well.

J.Crew

It’s clear that J. Crew is taking care to curate unique timepieces—one featured on the site is Omega’s rare Chronostop Driver, a model issued in 1968 and designed specifically to be worn under the wrist instead of on top, with the dial shifted so that the 12 marker sits where 3 would normally be.

That said, they’re going fast—the Rolex Datejust pictured above has already sold, and they even come with an Analog/Shift baseball cap.

Analog/Shift was founded nine years ago by watch collector James Lamdin, who didn’t like the “state of the secondary market” at the time. It looks like the state of that market has improved quite a bit since then.
