Every Single Watch James Bond Ever Wore on the Big Screen, in One Awesome Chart

From Sean Connery’s classic Rolex to Pierce Brosnan’s hidden laser.

After  no gadget that so perfectly captures the essence of superspy James Bond than his watch.

As my first real introduction to the Bond franchise, I watched Goldeneye hundreds of times and fixated on the watch laser (it was my favorite scenario to play in the N64 adaptation of the game.) An elegant Omega Seamaster Diver 300M with a vivid blue face, Bond (played by Pierce Brosnan) uses a hidden laser to burn a hole in the floor in a train car wired with explosives. Accompanied by Russian engineer Natalya (Izabella Scorupco), 007 escapes just in the nick of time.

The actual watches worn by Bond actors on the big screen tend to go for hefty sum at auctions, but as Details notes, most of these stylish timepieces aren’t pricey at all on their own; the same model of the Gruen watch worn by Sean Connery in his earliest roles will cost you well under $1,000.

To that end, Watches2U put together an excellent infographic of all the watches Bond has worn during the franchise’s run — and what they say about the various incarnations of the world’s favorite secret agent. We’re guessing the laser costs extra.
