Jordan Brand Debuts Flight Utility Modern Collection
Three new Jordan Brand kicks are coming soon.
On April 1, Jordan Brand will release a new Modern Collection from its Flight Utility range with three new models: Proto-Max 720, Proto-React, and Apex React.
The Proto-Max 720 has a 720-degree Air Max unit as the name implies, and the other two styles have Nike’s lightweight React cushioning system instead.
“Similar to how we’re approaching the Jordan game shoe, we want to blend our design aesthetic with leading-edge Nike Inc. innovation when designing lifestyle silhouettes,” says David Creech, VP of Design for Jordan Brand.
“Off-court comfort is paramount, so the benefit of Air Max 720 and React cushioning is clear.”
All three sneakers have a heel strap and Flight Utility details on the tongue and heel tabs. and the Apex React has a Flyknit upper similar to the Air Jordan 1.
Creech adds: “Jordan Brand’s future aesthetic is born from careful consideration of materials and graphics. This is balanced by a studied grasp on technology.
“Our intent is to showcase the best of what can be done with contemporary tools, paying respect to the brand’s inherent legacy of highest-quality sportswear while always embracing progressive craft.”
The new styles will be available globally online and in select stores on April 1st.
