Military Green Takes Over Fall
Olive drab doesn’t have a sexy name, but it shoots straight.
This fall, the fashion industry seems to have taken a cue from our nation’s police forces and kitted up military-style. Olive-drab has gone AWOL, ditching drills for runway shows and board meetings. Bolder than a neutral, but more disciplined than a splashy emerald, army olive is versatile without being boring. While we wouldn’t recommend pulling every item on our list into one massive, drab outfit (lest you be confused for an errant Humvee), these pieces are designed to create a murky, low-key effect. It’s not camouflage, but it is battle-tested.
